Director's Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the AISA web site which will give you a window into our world. It reflects the unique character of AISA – we are an American curriculum school, but we maintain strong links with the local community and culture while at the same time being an international community of 77 nationalities. It truly is a fascinating place to be.

We offer a strong academic program, including the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Students can take advantage of our excellent secondary school athletics program and there are increasing possibilities in other extra-curricular activities. Our graduates progress to excellent universities around the world. Further information about all of these areas can be found on this site.

AISA emphasizes the importance of education being a collaborative exercise, involving the student, the teachers and the family. We work together with parents in helping each student maximize his or her potential, both academically and socially. We welcome parent involvement in the school and encourage continued communication.
