School News
There will be some changes in our school leadership team. Robert Godley (Secondary Principal), Jaime Roth (Elementary Principal) and Elizabeth Jones (Secondary Assistant Principal) will be moving on in July. We thank them sincerely for all that they have done at AISA. We will be welcoming the following to new positions in September:
- Mary Pittman-Jones will be the new elementary principal. Mary was previously principal of a K-8 school in Paris, and you know her as our current elementary assistant principal.
- Joe Ravesi will be our new secondary principal. Joe is coming from the Toronto area where he has been a principal for more than 20 years.
- Amy Hansen will be the new secondary assistant principal. Amy has taught in California and is currently teaching at a university in Kuwait.
- Seith Lewis will be the new elementary assistant principal. He has been an assistant principal in Arizona and is currently teaching 4th grade at AISA.
News on our Senior students’ successes in their applications to colleges and universities:
- New York University-Abu Dhabi (5 students). AISA now has more students accepted at NYU-AD than any other school in the world.

Finally: Congratulations to the AISA Badminton team for their performances at the ISAC tournament played this past weekend. The team played a total of 192 games during the 3 day tournament.

Varsity Boys 1st Varsity Girls 2nd Varsity Team 2nd overall
JV Boys Team 2nd JV Girls Team 3rd
The AISA team were runners-up overall, narrowly beaten by AIS Kuwait.
