Visual Arts

Grades Six through Eight receive two hours of art instruction per week from highly qualified art instructors. Students investigate  artistic skill, concepts, artists, and styles all the while developing their knowledge of themselves as art makers. Students also develop an artistic voice when talking about cultural, social, and historical elements of the visual arts. Exploration of line and drawing, color and form, three dimensional works, and design elements make up the course content. A.I.S.A. is proud to offer a strong Middle School Art program which harnesses student’s ability and builds the foundation for further exploration of art at the high school level and beyond.

Middle School Art Trips

The Middle School students benefit from the extensive art programming that exists in our city of Abu Dhabi. Whether it is a trip out to see Andy Warhol prints at Sadiyaat Island, or a visit to Emirates Palace to experience ‘Art Abu Dhabi’, exposing our students to exciting art experiences is an integral part of our art program.
