This will be Joe Ravesi's final year at AISA and we salute him for all that he has done in the past 5 years. We are delighted to announce that AISA's new secondary school principal will be Mr. Omar Ugalde, our current assistant principal. Omar has worked at AISA for 6 years, having started as our IB Diploma Coordinator. He has a deep understanding of AISA and all its programs and a real love for the school. We look forward to him building on our current achievements and taking the secondary school even higher.

We are very proud of our Little Lions and how they represented AISA and themselves at the first ever JEAC Track meet.

The AISA Grade Four and Grade Five Track and Field team recently travelled to ASD in Dubai to participate in the first ever JEAC Track meet. 17 AISA students took part in events ranging from sprint races to throwing events. Our students did a great job on the day and established many school records while also having a great time. We are very proud of our Little Lions and how they represented AISA and themselves. Hopefully such events will continue to encourage our young lions to become more involved athletic activities.

The JEAC is a league for American schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing a semi-competitive opportunity for young students to experience competitions and athletic events. This year is the first year of the JEAC and we have and will participate in events in Football, Track and Field, Basketball and Swimming.
