Welcome to the Lion’s Den!

The American International School (AISA) has been built on a strong Athletics Program. Since the school opened 16 years ago the athletics program has grown to currently field over 25 competitive teams. AISA has established itself as a leading school for sports and academics in the Gulf region.

Here at AISA we compete in a variety of sports. Volleyball, swimming, basketball, soccer, track & field, and badminton are played at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and U14 age groups. There are 2 leagues that AISA are members with. The ECC (Emirates Coastal Conference), which is a local league consisting of schools from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. ISAC (International Schools Activities Conference), which has member schools from around the Gulf and Mediterranean. This is a tournament type league where our school travels to a variety of countries to compete against other private schools.

Being an International school our coaches come from a variety of countries with great playing and coaching backgrounds and experiences. Our athletes will be coached by teachers who are fully prepared to enhance the ability of every one of our athletes on or off the court or field. Our coaches teach our players what it means to be a student/athlete through maintaining proper time management skills throughout the school year.

We are trying to continue with the great program that has been built here at AISA. Our focus is on the student/athlete and building all around strong young girls and boys for their future through academics and sports.
