The AISA Lions Athletics Program has proudly represented the school for more than 29 years.

We offer developmental and competitive team sports at four levels:

• Elementary

• Under 14

• Junior Varsity, Under 16

• Varsity

Our program gives students opportunities to improve their athletic abilities, develop leadership skills, build friendships, and experience the value of commitment and teamwork.

AISA Lions may participate in a variety of sports throughout the academic year, including:

AISA Athletics Conferences

AISA participates in four organized athletics conferences, offering students opportunities to compete locally, regionally, and internationally.

Junior Emirates Athletic Conference — JEAC

JEAC brings together American schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and provides competitive sporting opportunities for students in Grades 4 to 6.

At AISA, our Elementary teams proudly compete as the AISA Cubs.

Emirates Athletic Conference — EAC

EAC provides competitive opportunities for Under 14, Junior Varsity, and Varsity student-athletes from American schools across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

AISA teams compete proudly as the Blue Lions and Yellow Lions.

Near East Schools Activities Conference — NESAC

NESAC provides international competition with schools from across the Middle East and North Africa region, including Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

Participation gives AISA student-athletes valuable opportunities to travel, compete at an international level, and connect with students from other schools and cultures.

GAAC

GAAC provides additional regional and international competitive opportunities for AISA student-athletes.

Through GAAC events, students can compete against other international schools, strengthen their athletic skills, demonstrate sportsmanship, and proudly represent the AISA Lions community.

More Than Competition

Our student-athletes embody the AISA mission through respect, honesty, responsibility, perseverance, and compassion.

Our coaches and athletes come from diverse cultural and sporting backgrounds. This international perspective enriches our program and creates a supportive environment in which students can grow, achieve, and lead.

Year after year, we continue to build on the proud tradition of AISA Lions Athletics.
